PEBL extensions - Request for functions

There are several examples provided within the Extensions section of the peblproject.com site. However, the code for the functions are not provided. Would it be possible to get a copy of the JavaScript that provides the functionality so that I could experiment with them? Thank you in advance for your assistance.

  • Absolutely, you can find the code for the extensions on our Github, https://github.com/peblproject/PEBL

  • Thank you very much. I will go take a look at that today. Have a great day.

  • Hi there,
we´re a research team at a german university, trying to use PEBL for an experiment regarding human attention. We want to use the "Tower of London" task for this purpose. Our experimental design requires 4 more buttons on the screen, 2 left and 2 right of the main "ToL" task. The clicking times of these buttons should be recorded, so we can use that measures for our stats. We've already looked into the source code, which seems to be quite large. Now the question: is it possible to code these buttons in relatively easy? We do have some team members with at least advanced knowledge in C-programming. Maybe somebody has any useful advice? Thanks a lot in advance!

  • Hi @Ric , if you're looking for PEBL psychology software I believe you can find them here: http://pebl.sourceforge.net/. Our project of the same name deals with eReaders and making them more interactive and functional through the use of JavaScript extensions. If I'm mistaken and you are in fact looking for us, we would be happy to help.

  • Sorry...wrong forum...thanks for the link...;-)
